Adult Pickleball League

Ages: 18 years of age & up

Fee: $50 per team of 2
*When registering only one playing partner will need to register for the duo.

Location: Bill Cooke Park (1010 Townbranch Road, Graham, NC 27253) & South Graham Park (1609 Rogers Road, Graham, NC 27253)

Description of League: An Adult Pickleball League for participants aged 18 & up. The program will be capped at 16 teams which will be divided into 2 groups; based on playing level and experience. The 2 leagues will be called the Championship (experienced players) and League 1 (novices). Each team will be guaranteed 7 games during the regular season. The two groups will function similarly to a soccer league where teams can get promoted and relegated. In the Championship teams placed 1st-4th will participate in a championship playoff. The last-placed team will be relegated to League 1. The teams placed 6th and 7th will play a match game with the loser being relegated to League 1. The team that finishes 1st in League 1 will be promoted to the Championship. The teams that finish in places 2nd and 3rd will play a match with the winner being promoted to the Championship.

*We will play 2-3 seasons a year; teams will have to register for each new season.

Equipment Provided: Pickleballs

Equipment Needed: Pickleball Paddles

Practice Information: There won’t be any formal practices. If you and your partner would like to practice then you’re welcome to play at Bill Cooke Park (2 courts) or South Graham Park (2 courts) anytime from sunrise to sunset. Pickleball is also available at the Graham Recreation Center (small gym only) on Monday – Friday from 6:00pm – 8:00pm (after basketball season).

30+ Pick-Up Basketball

Date: 3rd Sunday of each month (unless there is a scheduled rental – call Centers Supervisor, Marquis Graves, in advance to confirm the program at 336-570-6718)

SuperTots Sports Academy

SuperTots has been cancelled on site at the Graham Recreation Center until further notice. 

In 2017, Graham Recreation & Parks partnered with SuperTots Sports Academy to offer premier sport-instruction classes to children ages 18 months to 7 years of age at the Graham Recreation Center.

SuperTots Sports Academy provides sport-based development programs built on a professionally designed, progressive curriculum where children discover and develop athletic, motor, and social skills. SuperTots’ curriculum is specifically designed to promote development alongside a healthy, active lifestyle. It stresses a non-competitive environment and promotes fun above all else in a safe fully insured location.
